Yes. To prioritize member health and safety, the Rx Path is for qualifying members with a BMI ≥27.
We are required by law to verify the identity of all members before they see a healthcare provider and receive a prescription for a medication. We accept the following forms of ID:
Please make sure all four corners of your ID and all information on the ID is visible when you submit the picture. **You will not be able to see a provider for a medical consultation until you upload a government-issued photo ID.**
Your provider may request blood work. If so, you do not have any recent lab work completed from the last 12 months, we will order it, as it is required. We partner with LabCorp and will send your order there. Note: VTW does NOT cover the cost of lab work—this is an out-of-pocket expense or can be billed to your insurance. This will need to be completed, PRIOR to your appointment.
During your initial consultation, your affiliated provider will review your medical history, your weight care goals and current medications you are taking. They’ll use this information to recommend a personalized treatment plan to work with your unique biology for effective lasting weight loss. During follow up consultations, you can share your progress, ask questions, and address any medical concerns about your weight care. Your provider will monitor you and may adjust your treatment plan. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to the Support team at info@virtuoustw.com
After signing up you will be asked to fill out an intake forms to help determine if you are eligible for a prescription. Prescription medication isn’t right for everyone. Certain pre-existing conditions, medical history, health data, and/or conflicting medications could prevent weight loss medication from working safely and effectively. Your health and safety is our number one priority at all times.
Of course, but we partner with two pharmacies, Empower Pharmacy and University Compounding Pharmacy who supply our injectables at a cheaper price than local retail pharmacies. If you choose to use our pharmacies, we will send the prescription to the pharmacy, once received the pharmacy will reach out to you directly and the medication will be delivered to your address. You will pay the pharmacy directly for your prescriptions.
